A redesigned theme: Blockcraft, the website of a block-game server.

Added

  • Blockcraft 2.0.0 "Spawn + Inventory" — a new layout, chosen from four mock-ups. On top, a sky above a block landscape (hills, trees, stone), the sun and drifting clouds, the moon and stars at night; on the home page, the server name in large letters and its address, copied in one click ("Server address" setting), and the Discord when it is set. Navigation is an item hotbar: each section in its slot, with the item that stands for it (the book for news, the map for the forum…); on a phone, it sticks to the bottom of the screen, within thumb's reach. Square-cornered blocks with hard shadows, the forum as chests (a plank lid per category, each forum in its slot, an enchanted slot that shimmers when there is something new), the member area as the character screen, a stone footer. Jersey 10 headings, Rubik text, VT323 figures; "meadow" day, "starry sky" night. Every pixel is drawn for the theme. By day, the sky texts are dark: white, they would only have been readable through their shadow.

Fixed

  • The side column of Pulse, Chronique and Blockcraft no longer distorts the widgets placed in it: its layout also reached inside the widgets, and "Who is online" pushed its figures away from their labels there.
  • The selected tab of a member's profile is readable in Pulse, Chronique and Granite: these themes changed its text without changing its background, which the module paints in the accent color — dark text on the accent.
  • A group's icon no longer touches its name (for example "Main team", in the profile and the member area): the themes' shared base left no space between the icon and the name — in the six themes that load it.
  • An event's comments keep their icon in Pulse, Chronique and Granite: these themes removed the icon from every link in a card footer, and the link only said "0 →". Only widget footers ("View the calendar →") now lose their icon.
  • The selected pill of the messaging module is readable ("All", "Archives"…) in Pulse and Chronique: the shared base gave its text the link color and its icon the accent color, on an accent background (1.1:1).
  • Granite: buttons in a card footer ("Post an image", "View my application", the sessions pagination) took the red of links on the ink (2:1); "Lift this sanction" only had 3.7:1; on a phone, the front-page drop cap slid over the "By … on …" line below it; small buttons are 24 px high.
  • Pulse, at night: the counter in the member area menu is readable: white on the lighter night brick, it only had 3.9:1; it now keeps the day brick.
  • The member area menu, on a phone, snaps to the start of a tab: centered to the pixel, it left the previous tab cut off at the start of its name ("…fications").
  • Turning on "Debug mode" from Monitoring no longer crashes its page: the response crashed whenever a notification was waiting ("Cannot use object of type stdClass as array").
  • The guides count the themes in the package: "Concepts" announced four (Chronique and Pulse were missing), and "Create a theme" named four themes on the shared base instead of six.

Changed

  • check-mise-en-page no longer cries wolf: text in the cookie banner or in a bar stuck to the bottom of the screen passes over a chart on purpose (only the same layer makes a conflict); the hidden part of a text — the code of a scrolling block, a clamped description — no longer "overlaps" the next column; a tab in a scrolling strip is no longer "lost past the left edge". Fewer false defects, and the real ones still come out (tested on a booby-trapped test page, with the old probe and the new one).
