A redesigned theme: Extend, the website as an online game launcher.
Added
- Extend 2.0.0 "Launcher" — a brand-new layout, chosen from three mock-ups. A tab bar at the top, in tight capitals, the open tab lit by a blue line; on the home page, a large showcase (the slideshow, its title in big letters and its "Discover" button; without a slideshow, the site name on the theme image), then the upcoming events as cards, the news as thumbnails, the latest results; elsewhere, the page title on that image. On the right, on every page, an always-open panel: who is online, with avatars, then the chat channel (and, on forum pages, the forum's statistics). At the bottom, a status bar: the place for the "Game server", "TeamSpeak 3 server" and "Discord server" widgets, the language, then "Powered by NeoFrag Reborn", the copyright and the legal links. The forum as a library, the member area as a player card (banner, ringed avatar, gamification tier in the bar). On phones, the tabs move to the bottom of the screen, with "Online", which opens the panel as a drawer, and "More" beyond four sections. Steel blue on navy, night by default, day on demand; Saira Condensed headings, Albert Sans text. The logo, showcase image, background and colors are adjustable. Based on Chewbaka's theme, whose name and license it keeps.
- "Who is online? (list)", a new display of the Members widget: the three counts (administrators, members, visitors), then the people themselves with their avatar and last activity.
- "A public channel: its latest messages", a new display of the Discussions widget: the last four messages of a channel open to all members, and the link to write in it. A visitor does not read the messages: they are invited to log in, as in the messaging itself; the staff channel is never shown.
Fixed
- A blog article's related posts no longer overflow on phones: the box of a post without an image took its width from its row height and stuck out of the screen by a few pixels (at 414 px, in every theme).
- Blockcraft, reviewed on the published demo: on a phone, the page banner shows the whole landscape (cropped, it
only showed tree trunks), without the sun or moon, which a long title ran over; the demo sets an example server
address (
play.example.org), so the "Copy the address" button can be seen.
