The member area, second step: the public profile, and what everyone chooses to show on it. And a fix that matters: a logged-in member can read and write in the forum again.
Added
- A member's public profile becomes a real page. Their cover as a banner (it could be uploaded but showed nowhere), their avatar overlapping it, their username, rank, groups and presence; for a signed-in visitor, "Contact" (if private messaging is installed) and the "Report this content" flag, or "Edit my profile" on your own; then tabs, each at its own address: About (quote, identity, links, the site's public fields, and their stats), Activity, and the ones installed modules bring — Forum, Blog, Teams, Classifieds. A module with nothing to show about this member adds no empty tab.
- Each member chooses what their profile shows, in "Privacy and data": their points, karma and VIP days are kept to themselves until they show them (they were visible to everyone, visitors included); their age and online presence stay shown until they hide them. Their rank stays public. The choice applies everywhere: the card that opens when hovering a username, the avatar's dot, team rosters, the "Who is online?" and "Forum activity" widgets, the member search, the clock's birthdays. On their own profile, a member sees everything, with a padlock on what only they can see.
Fixed
- A logged-in member can read and write in the forum again, and sees the galleries, pages, event types and folders open to visitors. Since the permissions overhaul, the "Member" role only had what it was explicitly given: a member saw "No forum" where a visitor could read everything, and could write nowhere — only administrators, who bypass permissions, saw nothing wrong. The original rules are back: what a visitor can do, a member can do; what is refused to visitors only stays allowed to members. A migration restores them on every site, without touching a rule already set for members.
- Reputation ranks (Novice, Bronze, Silver…) are translated: they showed in French in every language. And a rank's tooltip no longer gives away the karma score.
- On a demo site, the "Forum activity" widget no longer shows the administrator account created at installation among online members; "Who is online?" already left it out.
- A website entered without "https://" in a profile now leads to that website: it became a link to a page of the site itself.
- An update no longer overwrites the catalog of the site that serves the marketplace. The update package carried an old catalog, built at 1.2.22: placed on that site, it no longer matched the archives, and every addon installation was refused until the catalog was rebuilt. An ordinary site reads the online catalog and was not affected.
- In "My space", the member's group lines up on the left under their username: it was centered in the middle of the header.
