Added
- A REST API (API module, optional), for programs that talk to the site without a
browser — first of all the upcoming Discord bot. An administrator creates access keys with
only the permissions wanted; a key is shown only once, the site keeps only its hash, and
it can be revoked in one click. The
/api/v1/…endpoints return JSON: the site status, a member (by ID or by linked Discord account), the groups, the forum (tree, topics, messages) and an event feed (new topic, new message, group change…). It also writes to the forum on behalf of a member, or of an unlinked Discord account — posted under its Discord username, marked with the Discord logo. Rate limited to 120 requests per minute per key; errors have stable codes. Guide: "The REST API" in the wiki. - My linked accounts (member area): see your linked Discord, GitHub or Google accounts, link one, unlink one — unless it is the only way to log in.
- Sign up with Discord (or GitHub, Google): an account nobody has linked creates a member, linked from the start, when registrations are open. Until now it got an "unknown account" error.
Fixed
- Linking your Discord account logged you into another member's account when that Discord was already linked to the latter: the session switched over to them. Linking is now refused, with a clear message, and the same external account can no longer be linked to two members.
