A new theme: Pulse, the common home of associations, clubs and communities, with three additions that serve every theme — the site in figures, the next event and the latest photos.
Added
- The Pulse theme. A light bar that stays on top, with the sections as pills, the account and the "Join" call always in sight (a "Menu" button on a phone); the home page is a mosaic of tiles — the site name and motto on the home image, the next event, the site in figures, the news, the agenda, the poll, the discussions, the documents, the photos, the partners — that the live editor rearranges tile by tile (light, sun or slate). The forum reads as cards, with its statistics and activity alongside; the dark footer carries the site map and the social networks. Light by day, "slate" night at the visitor's choice; Bricolage Grotesque headings, Manrope text. Settings: colors, home image, logo, and the address of the "Join" button (a membership page, a form on another platform, or the site's registration).
- The "The site in figures" widget: up to four numbers, chosen among the members, the discussions, the forum messages, the news, the upcoming events and the photos — counting only what the visitor is allowed to see (restricted forums and group albums stay out of the count). In Pulse the numbers count up when the tile appears, unless the visitor asked for less motion.
- The calendar also shows "The next event": its date in large type, its title, in how many days, at what time (or "all day") and where, the start of its description, and a button to open it.
- The gallery also shows "The latest photos", as a grid — from the albums the visitor can see only.
Fixed
- The "Colored title" style of Chronique and Granite: the panel title had the color of its background (teal on teal, red on red), so it was invisible. It is now colored, on the paper, as these themes intended — and the style's preview in the live editor shows it that way.
- Granite's "Colored widget" style: the text, the form labels and the button of a widget in this style could turn white on the paper (or ink on ink, at night). They keep the newspaper's colors. The contrast check can now measure a widget in every theme and every panel style.
- The breadcrumb above a news article: every theme planned it, it never showed — the rule placing it targeted an address that does not exist. It now shows on articles and on the news list, in every theme.
- Two side-by-side boxes stay aligned: under a news article, "Other news from this author" sat 14 to 22 px lower than "About the author" (likewise on an event page and in the inbox).
- Chronique: an article keeps its margins inside its card; the title and the text touched the border.
- Text on a gradient is readable: the "Join the server" button of the Discord widget, the initials of Forge's crest, the title and motto of Blockcraft's banner by day. The contrast check now measures text on a gradient, and as a logged-in member (the member area included).
- A Blog post with a single heading no longer appears squeezed: without a table of contents, the page kept its column, the text was cramped into 200 px and the side box (author, sharing) took its place — the release notes of 1.2.32, 1.2.33 and 1.2.37 on the official site. Thanks to Blober for reporting it.
admin.phpandajax.phpanswer "page not found" instead of a server error (and two log lines every time a bot probes these addresses).- The season timeline: "In 5 days" no longer breaks over two lines on a phone.
